In 2002, there was a shopping centre surrounded by trees on the north side of the city centre. Later, only the trees on the north-west side of the city were removed, and new apartments were built instead. Moreover, there was a large factory in the east of the town. By 2025, this building had been completely converted into a software company.
At the beginning of the period, an old cinema surrounded by trees was located in the southern part of the city. Later, the trees in the north-western corner of the town were cleared and a football stadium was constructed in their place. In addition, a pub was built instead of the old cinema. Furthermore, the western part of the urban area was empty at first, but a completely new train station was built there later.
