Overall, what stands out from the maps is that the town has transformed into a more residential place, with the construction of buildings and facilities.
Looking at what stayed the same throughout the period, the trees in the northeastern and southeastern sides haven’t been cut down, and the city centre has remained in the same place without any changes. Right above the city centre, a shopping centre is still a main source of residents’ needs.
One interesting change is that new multi-storey apartments for living have been built at the expense of trees. There were no accommodations back in 2002. To the left of the city centre, a new train station has been opened. The once working factory on the other side of town has been knocked down, urbanizing it with a software company instead. Other striking changes are the removal of the old cinema along with the green area and the building of a pub and a football stadium in those places respectively.
