The two maps illustrate the transformation of a seaside resort of Templeton across the years 1990 and 2005.
Overall, the place has undergone a dramatic change with more buildings and facilities to fulfill the growing needs of the tourists. The most notable changes include a large supermarket, factory outlet, functional railway and airlines with shipping allowance and more housing options but less greenery.
In 1990, the Templeton had alot of trees all over the town. There was one large building on north-west side and other several small houses around the place. Moreover, a school, and a hospital on top right corner of the map and a railyway station in south-east but railway tracks were not yet placed due to which residents faced alot of difficulty in travelling around the town. Also, there were no shipping facilities.
Conversely, in 2005, the trees were cut down to construct more buildings in order to accommodate growing population and a big mart for the public to buy products all at one place. The factory was also built in south-east to store and trade goods through ships. The tracks were made and it became operational. People could now also travel easily by planes.
