The maps illustrate the centre of the Islip town and the plans for its development.

Overall, a comprarison of the two maps reveals a complete transformation from a older system of town to a mainly modern area.

In the centre now, the town was a much smaller residential area with a lot of shops and housing, but in the planned development, the town will significant changes. The most noticeable in the plan is that adding many new housing that can influence an increasing the amount of the people. Moreover, a new circular road can improve the Islip town with economic activity.

In contrast, only the north shops removed. The shopping centre in the plan can shows more goods for the people. Furthermore, the development of the pedestrias and car park will creare the perfect security for the lifes of people. The bus station can help to move to the different cities. However, the school was also untouched in the plan.
