Overall, the town of lakeside underwent significantly developed over the 9 years period, with several facilities and building being constructed. In particular, derelict warehouse, old town, art center and one residential area were replaced by car parking, office, university, cinema, and shopping Centre. However, one residential area and school remained unchanged.

In 2000, the town of lakeside contains a number residential area, derelict warehouse, old town, art center, school, and industrial complex. By 2009, the derelict warehouse had been replaced by car parking, while old town converted into the offices and university. Meanwhile, art center had been transformed into cinema; also seem that one residential area was demolished and constructed a new shopping center.

There was also a considerable change to the residential area and industrial complex. In 2000, the residential area was demolished, which was situated at a corner of the southern area and industrial complex was considerable expended in the given period.
