The map depict how the town of East Haven underwent between 2008 and 2016. In general, the maps point that there was a significant change in land usage, from residential purposes to industrial aims.
To the north of the city of East Haven, the area experienced a huge alteration. The derelict warehouses in the north of the town was replaced by a car park while the old town to the south was demolished to make way for some offices and a university. The arts centre situated in the west of the town and the residential area to the south were turned into a multi-screen cinema and a shopping centre, respectively. while the lake in the north-east became a pond, the residential area located in the north-west of East Haven and the school to the south-east remained unchanged.
To the South of the river, a greater change was remarked. There was a significant increase in size of the industrial complex, with the residential area and the majority of the woodland being demolished and chopped down.
