The maps illustrate the changes that took place in Harton between 2008 andd 2016. Overall, it is clear that the town underwent a complete transformation with the conversion of some areas and the replacement of others.
Over the period, the neighborhood north of the river, experienced a significant changes. For example, Derelict warehouses were turned into a car park. Similarly, Old Town was replaced by Offices and University. While Residental area and School remained the same, Arts Center and Residental area were converted to Multi-screen cinema and Shopping center in respectively. Furtheremore, the Lake became smaller and changed into to a pond.
Moreover, by 2016 the Industrial complex, replacing all the Residential area and most part of the woodland in the south and west of the river. Therefore, the Industrial complex,though, developed,the vegatations of the town became smaller than before and it was limited to the nourthwest of the Harton city.
