The maps illustrate some differences between the town of Harton in 2008 and 2016. Overall, there were some big changes in the town.
First, in 2008, there had been a residential area in the north-west of the town. Next to it, there was derelict warehouses and the old town. To the west of the river, there had been an arts centre and a school next to it. To the south of the school, there was another residential area. Beside that, through the river, there was an industrial complex. Additionally, the others residential area was located in the south of the complex of industry.
In 2016, there were many changes to the town. The residential area and the school were two places which still remained. The warehouses were replaced by a car park, while the old town became offices. University was built between the offices and the pond, which had been a lake in 2008. The arts centre was also changed into the multi screen cinema. To the west of the town, residential area was removed in order to expand the industrial area. This expansion also affected to the woodland area, which was smaller than 2008.
