The maps illustrate the layout of the ground floor of an art museum in 2005 and the current time.
Overall, substantial transformations have taken place in the gallery, including the addition of various facilities for visitors and the introduction of new services and improved accessibility.
In 2005, the entrance led directly to a receptionist area in the centre. Furthermore, exhibition rooms occupied the right side and the bottom left corner, numbered from 1 to 4. On the upper left, there was a café and a gallery office, while a staircase was near the centre.
Currently, the configuration has undergone changes. First, the receptionist area was still situated in the middle, but the area is now in an entrance hall. Additionally, a ramp for wheelchairs has been installed. Furthermore, the café, as well as the office has made way for a gallery shop, and a vending machine. There are also two new adjacent rooms: a temporary exhibition room, and a children’s area, where exhibition room 4 previously occupied.
Furthermore, the stairs are still there; however, a lift has been added nearby. Exhibition rooms 1, 2, and 3; however, have remained unchanged.
