The maps provide detailed information about the changes that took place in a town called Dalton between 1995 and 2020.
Overall, it is clear that there were a dramatic changes in the structure of Dalton town, particularly in the development of a residential complex, a multi-storey car park, a transport hub and a riverside walk. It is also worth mentioning that the sports centre, park,residential area, shopping centre, town hall, River Dane, and new bridge remained more or less unchanged over the given period.
As can be seen from the maps, in the northwestern zone the sports field became a sports centre and in the northeastern zone, the industrial estate was rebuilt into a residential complex. Between these two buildings, the park remained constant. In the western zone, the residential area was levelled off but at the bottom of this area, the school was destroyed and replaced by nothing. In the eastern zone, the car park was reconstructed into a multi-storey car park. In the middle of the mentioned constructions, shops were turned into a shopping centre and the town hall was remained stable. In the southwestern zone, a bridge was located and rebuilt into a new bridge. In the southern area, the bus station changed to a transport hub. To the left of this building, a residential area was established and remains.
