The maps illustrate the changes that have taken place in Clearview Public Park between 1970 and the present day.
Overall, significant changes have occured in the park. A minor part of the area remained the same. Although most of it was built-up and now looks completely different.
The only two landmarks that have remained are a tree-lined avenue that leads visitors from the main entrance to the centre of the park and the pond, that is to the west of the centre.
A metro station entrance has been constructed to the right of the park entrance for easier access.
In the middle of the area used to be a bandstand. But it has since been demolished and replaced by an outdoor theatre. To the east of the performance area is now located a community garden. Previously, a rose garden took its place. For athletic individuals, two sports fields have been constructed in the south-east side of the park. As well as a cycle path that surrounds practically all of the park’s entertainment features. Additionally, in the furthest from entrance edge of the park a pavillion was razed, and substituted with a cafe.
