The maps illustrate the Meadowside village and Fonton, a side-by-side town, development from 1962 until now. Overall, there were biggest transformations in both towns, the most noticeable was the development of main road that connected those cities and increasing new buildings such as sport centre, hotel, station, business park, etc.
Back in 1962, Meadowside village and Fonton were separated by water. In Meadowside village there was only small road which connected the village to others, while in Fonton only had a railroad. Moreover, the growth started in 1985, in Meadowside village there was building developments, such as housing estate, leisure complex and sport centre. In addition, it had two main roads; the first road connected the village with the other, and new main road that connected to Fonton. In contrast, in Fonton there was not developed yet.
In nowadays, Meadowside village and Fonton experienced significant development. The most change is now both towns are connected by land. There are several new facilitations that have been built, namely a hotel, station, and business park. Additionally, one railroad has been developed, thus there are 2 railroads near Fonton.
