The three maps illustrate the development happend in Meadowside village and it’s neighbouring town, Fonton, from the year 1963 to present time.
Overall, over the period of 64 years, the village and the town has been merged together and has gone through a massive modernisation.
In 1962, most of the area was empty, with no buildings and very few roads. However, in the year 1985, the development in the Meadowside village begun, with the addition of the Housing estate and the Super store on the western area of the village, while a Leisure complex at the center of the village. Meanwhile, there were no significant changes in the Fonton town except for the construction of a road that connects it to the Meadowside village.
Further the map collate that with the addition of some new structures, like a Station at the center of the area, a Hotel north of the station, and a Business park south of the station, the village and town are merged.
