The maps provide the development that took place in Meadowside village and a neighboring town, Fonton, in 1962.
Overall, both areas had significant development, and many buildings and railways were built. Nowadays, Meadowside has now joined into one large area with Fonton.
In 1962, Meadowside and Fonton were completely separated from each other with no land in between them. Meadowside has a small road running through it from the north to southwest. Meanwhile, Fonton has a railway that passes through it from the northwest to southeast. There were not many facilities seen during this period.
By 1985, both areas had become larger, spreading out over more areas. There is now a new road connected to the village and the town from east to west. The old road is now bigger in size, and there are now more facilities built in Meadowside, such as a leisure complex and a housing estate built next to the old road, while a superstore is to the south of the housing estate and leisure complex.
In the present, both areas have joined together and are now one land. There is now more infrastructure. A business park has been established on the south of the new road. On the opposite side of the new road is a train station which has a railway connected to it. Above the train station, a hotel is now being established.
