The two maps show changes of the village of Stokeford between 1930 and 2010. We can witness that many changes were made during this time, including new buildings recreation facilities..
In the past, the first farm was on the northern-east side of primary school. The second one was located on the right side of the River Stoke. In 2010, they were knocked down. In addition, shops that next to the post office were knocked down too. On the right side of the main road, there was a large house and retirement house was constructed instead of it. To build retirement house, size of the large house was expanded. Extra buildings were added to the primary school. In the 1930, there were few houses on the two sides of the main road, whereas in the 2010 there were more than 50 houses. Also, on the top of the post office and the primary school, two pathes was opened from the main road.
In summary, it is clear that the village changed and expanded the territory.
