Overall, various changes can be seen on the new map throught the years, which indicate the desire of the government to attract more tourists to the costal town.
In 2000, in the northern part of the map, the dock for two ferries could have been found. A small closed area ,which was used as a Marina for private yachts, was located in the northwestern side of the map and a bigger zone for fishing boats was constructed to the south of Marina as well.
As shown by the map, the new dock was added to increase the number of ferries stationed at ones. The Marina was moved to a bigger area where the fishing boats used to park, and the fishing ships were moved to an opposite area.
The southern part of the map underwent the most significant changes, by demolishing the coastal castle and constructing a hotel, a building, cafes and shops near the lifeboat instead. The public beach was given as the property to the hotel and can’t be accessed more by unauthorised members.
