Image for topic: The maps illustrate the modifications that have occurred in Porth Harbour from 2000 to today.
Our system will evaluate the answer based on this AI-generated description.
The image shows Porth Harbour maps for years 2000 and today, showing the following detailed changes. In 2000, notable features include a fishing port on the west side nearby to the sea, six boats within it, an adjacent fish market, and a café slightly eastward. There are three warehouses located at the southeast within the main boundaries along with a pier extending northwestward. A separate car park is located south of the boundaries, right next to the road leading to a final point with a children’s play area and hotel to the left. Significant changes visible today show the car park remaining but adjacent to it is a multi-storey car park; the surrounding play area converted into swimming pool. The hotel from 2000 now transformed into a "hotel with restaurant" establishment, and the warehouses haven been removed. The café is replaced by "cafés and shops". The fish market is now a maritime museum. The fishing port remains, but with three boats.
Given the complexity of the image, the above description may not be entirely accurate.

The map illustrates a comparison between Porth Harbour in 2000 and today. Overall, there have been several changes, the most noticeable such as an increase in public and entertainment areas, as well as a reduction in a few accommodations.

In 2000, the east of Porth Harbour area only had one dock with two accessible ferries for passengers. The South area, across the dock, previously only had one lifeboat with a road connecting it to the main road. It also has a public beach for visitors with a disused castle next to it. There are not many entertainment areas as well, which are mostly located in the West, along the main road. There were only four areas open for the public such as showers, toilets, car parks and fishing boats. It also had one private area for private yachts, next to the showers and car park on the North called Marina.

Turning to the present day map, it can be seen the only remaining area is public beach in the North East. It also has an increased number of public services such as showers and toilets which are located between the car parks. Also the dock area now can be accessed by three ferries since the new added dock next to the old one. The Marina (private yacht) and fishing boats are also swapped their location, so the yacht area is now bigger than in the 2000.

The most drastic change is in the South East, the disused castle is now being used as a hotel with a new road connecting it through the main road. Therefore, the public beach next to it, is now only accessible for hotel visitors. Since the mobility of visitors has increased in this area, the old empty space next to the lifeboat is now turned into a cafes and shops for visitors.
