The diagrams illustrate how Huntingdon has changed throughout the time, both in terms of present and planned future changes.
Overall, this area is going to undergo significant changes in buildings and the structure of its roads. The most noticeable changes will occur in the centre of this map, where a roundabout will be constructed.
In the north of this map, there is an Airfield located next to A1 road, which will be replaced by an industrial estate in the future. The road running from the north-eastern side to the south of this diagram will be developed by adding two more accessible roads to the industrial estate. A built-up area for homes and shops will remain unchanged.
At present, there is just one roundabout located in the north west which connects A1 road and A14 road. However, in the future, one more roundabout will be introduced which is positioned in the centre, connecting Brampton road and leading to a railway station below and a town centre to the right. The town centre will remain, while there will be an additional road below Ring Road. A14 road is no longer the largest road, it will be the road that connects A1 road and an additional road of Ring Road.
