Let’s takeit more closely, in 1950 since the human population were tiny the residential area was very small and the work areas were samll too. İf we look now we can see that both living and working areas are bigger. Also 1950 the river was samll so the need for the bridge was not important however since the river becomes a lake and since its get biger the amout of bridges needed and size of them incereased. Additionally there was no need for a dam in 1950 but because of the lake there is a dam right now. The major road did not change that much but gets a little bit bigger and longer. Since the population incereased over time the need for airport and government areas are also rised.
So for the sum it up because of the amout of peoples changed over time the need for some type of buildings were incereased.
