The maps illustrate changements in a city library which is found in İstanbul between 2000 and today.
Overall, the changes can be divided into 3 categories which are replacements, non-changements and additions. Moreover, the library has developed more cafe facilities over the years.
In 2000, most of the library was composed of books which are in the fiction category. By the present day, the bigger fiction category has been subdivided into 4 sections which are art, hobbies, cookery and fiction. Fiction genre books are still present in the library but it covers a smaller place than it had before. Non fiction books had changed places and replaced the old smaller fiction part. Now, the non-fiction category covers a bigger place than it had in 2000. In addition, a new cafe is replaced in the place of the old non-fiction section. Moreover, 3 tables were added in front of the cafe. Lastly, there are no changements in the places of the service desk, new books and travel sections.
