The accompanying maps illustrate the proposed transformation of an industrial site into a residential area. The upper map shows the current layout, while the lower map depicts the planned redevelopment. This significant change involves a complete alteration of the site’s function and infrastructure.
Overall, this project represents a complete metamorphosis of the site’s function and physical form. The existing industrial complex, dominated by a large factory and numerous ancillary buildings, will be replaced by a diverse range of housing options, communal green spaces, and significantly expanded parking facilities. Access will remain exclusively via Main Road.
The present industrial site is bounded on two sides by Main Road. A substantial portion of the eastern side is occupied by a large factory building. To the west, several smaller office buildings are clustered together, along with supporting structures such as a canteen, storage, and a packing area. The main entrance and reception are conveniently located near the northern end of Main Road.
The redevelopment plan necessitates the complete demolition of existing structures. In their place, a new residential complex will be built, comprising a variety of housing units. These include three two-bedroom houses, one three-bedroom house, and one four-bedroom house positioned along Main Road. A sizeable apartment building will occupy the area formerly used by the factory. Communal gardens are integrated into the design, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal and providing green space for residents. Ample parking is provided via individual garages and a dedicated parking area. Access remains exclusively via Main Road.
