The two given layouts shows an illustration of how an industrial area will be repurpose and rearrange into a residential friendly space with housing and ammenities: parking spaces and communal gardens. The rectangle area is surrounded by a main road on dour sides.
Overall, the transformation will have less unsed space. Because most of the previous unutilize spaces, mostly on the north and east side of the area, will be transform into funtional area. However, the south side of the property will slightly increase the free space.
As you can see, the factory on the east wing of the area is planned to be replaced by apartments. Conveniently, a parking area is set to extend on the north side of the apartments. Another noticible transition is that the former entrance and reception area on the north of the property will be expanded and redeveloped into a three two bedroom house with a communal garden extending all the way on the south of the houses.
The packing station and storage area will both be altered into a three bedroom house and a four bedroom house, respectively. The south part of the area, containing multiple offices and a canteen, is all going to merge into a long parking garage area.
