The image consists of two labeled diagrams titled "Lake side 2000" and "Lake side 2009" showing changes in land use over time around a river flowing through a lakeside. In 2000, north is to the left of the river, which has woodland to the north and south, a derelict warehouse and Old Town to the northwest, an arts center and school to the west, an industrial complex to the southwest, and residential areas to the west, northwest, and southeast. In 2009, the north side has a car park, office, university, and pond added, while the southeast side now includes a multi-screen cinema and shopping center; the woodland remains on both sides, the industrial complex expands, and the Old Town and arts center are no longer present.
Given the complexity of the image, the above description may not be entirely accurate.

The maps give information about how the town of Lakeside changed between 2000 and 2009.
Overall, it can be seen that the town was transformed and there were many buildings for leisure facilities and educational centres.
On the left side of the maps we can see the residential area which stayed in the same place in 2009, but near this place refurbished a lot such as a new reconstructed car park, offices, schools, multi-screen cinema and shopping centre which used to be Derelict warehouses, old town building, only one school, arts centre and residential area that located on the south-west of the river. At the end of the period was opened a modern university which was placed at the north of the school.
There was a large location where was a Woodland and lake in 2000, although the placement was reduced in size and the lake was replaced with a pond so that the majority of trees were chopped down after 9 years. A residential area had been demolished and an industrial complex become larger than it was at the beginning of the period.
