The maps illustrate how A changed from 2000 to 2009.
Overall, A experienced significant changes with the addition, replacement, and renovation of various facilities. The most noticeable changes took place in the north of the map.
In 2000, an industrial complex was in the middle of the map. Besides, a river flowed from the southwest to a lake that was situated in the east of the map, while Woodland was seen in the same area. In addition, there were three residential areas in three different places including the northwest, the west, and the south. Moreover, derelict warehouses were located in the north, between the first residential area and Woodland, while an Old Town was underneath. At the same time, there was a school below the Old Town and next to an Arts center.
In 2009, the woodland was narrowed towards the northeast and the lake also reduced in size into a pond. Additionally, the first residential area remained unchanged, while the second residential area was replaced by a shopping center. Besides, the third residential area was demolished making way for the industrial complex that was extended towards the southeast. Furthermore, the school was relocated toward the middle of the map, while the arts center was deconstructed to give way for a multi-screen cinema. Meanwhile, the derelict warehouses were destroyed to build a car park. Finally, the old town was also deconstructed making way for offices and a university.
