The two maps show the changes which have taken place in a small museum and its surroundings between 1990 and 2010.
In general, it appears that the museum area has become more modern, with more parking and leisure facilities.
One interesting change is that the cottage in the south-west was removed and replaced with a café. In 1990, the shop was small, but by 2010 it had been moved and enlarged, making it easier for visitors. Another noticeable change is that the garden in the south-east was cut down to make more space for the car park.
If we look at the car park, in 1990 it was only on the east side, but in 2010 it was expanded to the south, giving more parking space for visitors. The exhibition rooms and restaurant, however, stayed the same as before.
A final development has been the replacement of some garden areas with new facilities, showing that the museum area became more convenient for tourists.
