The map illustrates the alteration of a small village between 1995 and now. It can be seen that the residential area has been enlarged throughout the three decades as the number of residents has increased.
From the fist map, we can see that all the housing area was concentrated at the northwest of the map, where most buildings are constructed on either side of the main road and the others are surrounded by a ring road. By the sea, there was a fishing port and a fish market on the coastline. A cafe was located at the east of the market and shops were to the north of the market. On the southeast corner of the map, a block of hotel can be seen. A forest park was adjacent to the hotel. Continuing running north, a farmland can be found.
At present, as shown in the map, the village has been urbanized. More housing has been put up the accommodate more villagers. The fish market has been replaced by a line of apartments. A car park is located next to the hotel. Both the forest park and the fishing port have been demolished. The farmland has been transformed into a golf court and tennis courts, while the shops have been converted into a street of restaurants.
