The maps display information about how the waterfront section looked before and after a development project. Overall, there were a lot of significant transformations after the project, where most of the buildings were demolished, converted and appeared. 37
Before the improvement, there were four factories, which were located near to the waterfront, two of them on the west side of the river and another two on the opposite side. Also, on the western part of the city, there used to be a container ship piers. Moreover, between two factories, on the west, there were three warehousees, which were situated next to each other.
When the city underwent the development project, the factory on the west was converted to the park. Following that, all three warehouses were demolished and a hotel was built on that territory. On the south zone of waterfront, the factory underwent the same process, so now, there is an appartment building. As it comes to the coastal zone, the container ship piers were removed so a pleasure boat marina was constructed. On the east side of the river, an office tower was built. Another two factories were converted to the appartment building and next to it, the another park was constructed.
