The visuals show the waterfront part of the urban area before and after the reconstruction project

Overall, The two illustrations show a significant difference. Coastal area is now transformed into residential and tourist attraction where it previously used to be an industrial part.

The first noticeable changes are at the east of the map. New park, apartment building and a business center has been constructed. Formerly there were two factories there, However, The ferry terminal stands in it is place.

Looking at the west side of the river we can see that there were dozens of warehouses and factories as well as a container ship terminal. After the project however, all of them got demolished. There now stands a Residential building and a Hotel. Container ship piers at the harbour are replaced by Pleasure boat marina areas. Modernization brought greenery to the environment, coastal are has two parks – one at the west and the other at the North-east side of the waterfront.
