Overall, it is evident that both figures saw a major increase throughout the period, however after seven years Malaysia plummeted, while Dubai kept rising.

In the early years, Malaysia had the highest starting poitn with 100 thousand visitors in 1995. The figure then proceeded to insignificantly increase, reaching 250 thousands in 1999 with a minimal fluctuation. After which the figure fractionally rose then fell sharply to below 250 thousand by 2003.

In the other hand, Dubai had below 50 thousands in 1995. The figure remained at the same level in the next year, though it dramatically jumped attaining above 150 thousands in 1998.
