The given bar chart makes a comparison of the percentage of GDP from two industries, namely, IT and services industry, in the UK, during 8 years from 1992 to 2000.Overall, as can be seen, although the percentage of GDP from both industries rose, it increased more significantly in the IT industry.
To begin, in1992 the proportion of GPD from IT stood at about 6% which was the higher than service industry. After that, however it experienced some fluctuation, it soared to about 15% in 2000, which was about twice of the percentage of GDP from service industry in that year.
On the other hand, the percentage of GDP from service industry was 4%, about 2% more than GDP from IT industry. Then, it increased gradually finishing at 8% in 2000.
In general, it is evident that, although the percentage of GDP in both industries changed during timeline, the GDP made from IT industry was always higher than that of Servies industry.
