In 1970, car theft was the most common crime, standing at 0.4%. This figure saw a significant rise and peaked at 1.4% by 1985. In contrast, it decreased sharply to 0.8% at the end of the period. Similarly, house burglary stood at around 0.3% in 1970, before experiencing a slight increase to 0.4% in 1980. There was a moderate growth in house theft which reached 0.6% by 1990. However, it began to drop marginally to 0.4%.
On the other hand, street robbery never exceeded 0.2%. It started at approximately 0.1% and fluctuated over the period. Furthermore, this proportion ended its movement at the same level as the first step in 2000.
