The chart illustrates how clothes are made from recycled plastic bottles and the cycle of this process.
Overall, the process comprises numerous stages, from collecting plastic bottles, through sorting, compressing, crushing, and heating steps, to producing many kinds of products.
At the beginning of the process, plastic bottles are collected before being loaded onto trucks and transported to the factory. Then these bottles are sorted at the recycling centre, followed by being compressed into large, square blocks. Once the blocks have been crushed into small pieces by means of a crusher, these pieces are dropped into a big water tank for washing away the impurities on them.
The process continues with the pellets being produced from plastic pieces, and then they are heated under high temperature to form raw materials. The next stage is that the end products are manufactured from these materials and the process repeats again and again.
