The diagram portrays the changes/transformations of the facilities at Laguna Beach over the periods 1950, 1970 and 1990.
Overall, some civil constructions, and entertainment supports were added/introduced to provide augmented (improved) accommodation and amusement facilities/services.
Laguna Bridge provided only basic services in 1950. The sea is located on the southern side of the beach while there were some beach-huts on the northern corner. Again, on the eastern side, there was a woodland which was next to a track on its north. Finally, there were some sand dunes on the western part of the beach.
However, there were certain significant changes in 1970 and 1990. Firstly, the beach huts were converted into villas in 1970 and into hotels with pool facilities in 1990. Also, secondly, a roadway was constructed on the track and a caravan park was build in the place of the woodland in 1970. Thirdly, the whole area looked different when the caravan park was transformed into a car park, and a landscape garden was develop on the sand dunes in 1990. Finally, a surf school, enhancing entertainment opportunities, was established on the bank of the sea in 1990.
Hence, we can summarize that the facilities of Laguna Beach in 1990 were much better than those in 1950.
