The maps labeled with “the island 1995” and “the island 2005” show the development of the island during these 10 years.
Overall, there are significant changes on this island to attract more tourists. Starting with how the people can get from the mainland to the island, building new houses, offering a tour for the island by a boat, constructing a resort to accommodate the visitors. While there are not any changes with seal’s and penguins’ life, either with northern beach.
Firstly, in 1995, tourists can visit the island by a car ferry which it connects the mainland to the island, 10 years later, it can be visited by crossing a bridge.
Secondly, in 2005, the number of roads has increased so people can reach the beach, penguins, resort and the houses easily. Furthermore, the number of houses rose to 8 in 2005 instead of 3 in 1995. Also, the eastern beach has been replaced by a resort.
