There are nine main steps in the process of making cherry jam, beginning with cherry picking and ending with labeling jars.
The first step, a sheet is spreaded on the ground and the tree is shaken to get the cherries. The second steps, the cherries are collected and are transpoeted to the processing plant. The third steps, the leaves and stems are removed. The fourth steps, the cherries are washed under running water. The fifth steps, the stone is taken out off the middle off the cherry.
The sixth steps, the cherries are cook and extra ingredients are added such as lemon juice, sugar and pectin. The seventh steps, the quality off the jam is checked. The eighth steps, the jam is put into jars. Finnally steps, a label is stuck on the jars.
