The pie charts illustrate the proportions of students by gender and by the subject each gender is studying at a major university in the year 2020.

Overall, the proportion of males is the highest in the university. Among males, majority chose Engineering as the main course; however, majority of the females chose Business.

Among all the students in the university, 52% of them were males and 48% were females. Considering the set of male students, it is observed that 40% of them are enrolled in Engineering courses, and half of the percent were enrolled in Business. Arts and Sciences have an equal proportion of 15% and the remaining 10% of the students were enrolled in other courses.

In contrast to the distribution of males, females were almost equally distributed among the courses. Business was the major choice for females because 25% were enrolled in it. Arts and humanities too had considerable enrolment percentage of 20%. Each of the Sciences, Education and other courses have 15%. However, in contrast to the male enrolment, only 10% of females were enrolled in Engineering.
