The pie charts give information about the proportion of volunteers by facilities between 2008 and 2014.
Overall, what stands out from the charts is that while healthcare and environmental only experienced a considerable growth, the rest of the organizations showed a decline. Another interesting point is that, although healthcare had been the least level in 2008, this figure was a secondary highest level at the end of the period.
In detail, the healthcare was the least preferred organization, 7% to volunteer initially, and it increased significantly, 25% in 2014. Similarly, before growing significantly, 34% in 2014, the percentage of volunteers in environmental showed 21% in 2008.
In contrast, both other organization and educational have experienced a decrease in the proportion of people volunteering in it. After undergoing a slight decline of 9% in 2014, volunteers of other facilities were at an average level of 15% at the initial period. In 2008, despite being the most volunteered 24% organization, in final of the period, educational was the least preferred to volunteer 8%.
In 2008, art started at 15% volunteers, and this slightly declined to 12% in 2014. Similarly, the percentage of volunteers in sport had been 18% initially, and it finished at 12% volunteers in 2014.
