The information regarding the four different types of food ingestion of global means intake compared to China and India in 2008, is depicted in the rendered pie charts.
Overall, both countries showed different food consumption patterns from the rest of the world average, but at the same time processed food consumption was the largest among three different charts.
According to the data, manufactured food was the highest used in the world average at about 41%. Which was greater than one in 50 and three in 50 from India and China respectively. However, Animal food increased to 1% in India compared to the global average of 26% but in China fell to 15%.
Moving further, the rest of the world’s average consumption of nuts and seeds (4%) was considerably lower than China and India, which was 19% and 11% respectively. On the other hand, Vegetables and fruits were highest used in China, around 32%, ahead of the global average and India which was about 29% and 23%.
