A glance at the charts provided below show the amount of young generation of both genders spending time for recreational and cultural activities.Overall, it is evident that boys mostly got involved in computer games while greater amount of girls spent time on dancing.
To begin with, computer games were the most used pastime, showing 34 percent of overall boys’ activities. Following that, just over a quarter proportion of the boys was busy playing basketball. Moreover, more than 10 percent of youngsters spent time for three different hobbies, namely listening to music, skateboarding and soccer. Reading was the least proportion of being involved.
As for the girls recreational pastimes, dancing dominated with just over a quarter percent which was followed with 21 percent of them reading. The rate of girls involved in the rest activities was lower than one fifth of the toatal which are 11 percent on gymnastics, 10 percent on listening to music and 15 to 16 percent on netball and computer games, respectively.
