Overall, it can be clearly seen from the chart that activity with the highest percentage for boys is playing computer games, while for girls it is dancing. Interestingly, activity with the lowest percentage for boys is reading, meanwhile for girls it is the second highest percentage.
Looking at the boys favor chart in more detail, computer games are the most popular activity, accounting for 34% of the total. Basketball is the second most preferred activity at 26%, followed by soccer at 17%. Smaller proportions of boys choose skateboarding and listening to music, at 11% and 10% . Reading is the least common activity among boys, with only 2% participating in it.
Turning to the girls chart, dancing is the most popular activity, including 27% of girls. Reading is also highly preferred, making up 21% of the total. Computer games account for 16%, while netball is at 15%. Listening to music and gymnastics are the less popular activities, at 10% and 11%. Which means girls are still more common than boys at reading.
