The two pie chart above exhibit the the online sales for retail sectors in Canada in the years 2005 and 2010.
In 2005, the electronics and appliances dominated the chart showing 35 percent followed by the food and beverage with video games on the falling behind the list.
However, in the year 2010, there is huge shift on the online sales. Compare the year 2005 where electronic and appliances was dominant followed by the food and beverages, now the latter is leading reprecented by 32%. If video games accumulated only about 18 percent in the year 2005, now it rose to 23% showing a 5% increase for the year’s overall online retail sales beating the home furnishing which was previously ahead of the former by 7%.
