The given pie chart depicts the proportion of pupils on an education center created by adult learning various course suggested in 1985 and this year.
Overall, the percentage of some students joining courses have changed over the years, and some of the courses were replaced by other trending courses depend on the demand of society.
In 1985, the share of pupils learning Modern language classes took the lionshare which accounted for 24%, followed by that was Fitness and dance class with 22%. While the opposite was true with Music appreciation just reached at only 8%. In addition, there were some courses remained at a medium level like Art with 17%, Local history with 15% and Cookery with 14%.
After decades, there were dramatical changes in student’s participation on some courses. Music appreciation and History local courses were removed and replaced by IT course which is attracting a lot of students, particularly 27%. The percentage of pupils in Cookery course increase slightly from 14% to 19%, while the percentage of students participate in Art and Modern language have a decrease to 15% and 17%. Remarkably, the proportion of students learning Fitness and dance class remain unchanged over the years.
