Overall, the biggest share belongs to private studios, followed by school halls (after school) and community halls, with college based studios making up the smallest portion, similarley young people aged 11 and under count for the largest attendees of ballet classes and tap classes to a lesser degree, while modern class seems to contain the lowest number of under 11s, it is however the class with most students aged 11-16, with ballet having the least.
Regarding the dance classes’ location, the largest percentage is attributed to private studios with 48%, furthermore, school and community halls share a similair part of 24% and 18%, respectively, college based studios make up the smallest porpotion of just 10%.
As for the types of dancing classes attended, ballet class is home to 600 students aged 11 and under, seconded by tap class which has approximatley 450 pupils, modern class seems to host the least number of under 11 youths with 300, in contrast, attendees aged 11 to 16 appear to be drawn the most to modern classes with a figure reaching just over 500, and lastly with tap class and ballet class sharing an almost similair figure of 420 and 300 students respectively.
