In the given image, pie charts provide the distribution of populations of Spain and Italy in 3 different age groups in 2 different centuries.
Overall, it is easy to notice that in each given year, in both European countries, the most percentage of populations consisted of age group between 15-49 years , while other groups were lacking.
To start with, both in Spain and Italy in 1900s the overall image was pretty similar: in both country’s population people of age above 49 were 30% of the whole nation. However, there was small difference in other 2 age groups: with 30% and 25% for the first age group , and 40% to 45% respectivelly, for people of 15-49 years for Spain and Italy. After 100 years the statistics show the even more improved domination of people of age 15-49 with 10% increase in each . While toddlers and babies between 0-14 years old ,conversely, decreased to 10%.
