Overall, in 2011, Internet Explorer were the most used browser, but in 2012 the dominance shifts to Chrome, and it becomes the most dominant browser.
Looking at the 2011 pie chart, it can be noticed that there were 3 popular browsers, and those are: Internet Explorer (34.2%), Firefox (23.6%), Chrome (20.6%). However, as it can be seen, Internet Explorer, was the most popular among them. Additionally, the remaining usage proportion was divided between Safari (11.2%), Opera (5%), and Andrpid and others (5.4% collectivelly).
In 2012, the outlook changes drastically. Chrome becomes the most dominant browser with a proportion of 29%, an increase of 9% in a single year. Nevertheless, Internet Explorer held the second position among the most used browsers with a percentage of 22.5%, decreasing by around 12%. Safari also witnesses an increase of about 4%.
