The pie charts illustrates the online shopping sales in New Zealand between 2003 and 2013.
Overall, there was an increase and a decrease in proportion. It is interesting to note that the highest increase was in the film/music sector, while the highest decrease was in the clothing sector.
Looking at the beginning of the period, in 2003, the highest proportion of online sales was travel (36 %), followed by clothing sales with almost a quarter. The film/music sector got slighty over 20% and book saler by 19 per cent of the total, which was the lowest sales in that period.
Turning to the end of the period in 2013, after a Lecade the film/ music sector had increased by 12% to 33%, followed by the book transaction, which had risen by 3% to slighty over 20 per cent. Meanwhile, the clothing area suffered a decline to 16% of the total propotion and the travel sector saw a decrease to 29%.
