The pie charts illustrates the percentage of house owned and rented in the UK between 1991 and 2007.
Overall, most of the houses was private and others rented houses with three renting system namely, private renting, social renting, social housing.
To begin with, in 1991 almost 60% of houses had made for personal use. If its had any free space of living they share with another rental .Sometimes this kind of house owners designed their appartment with several units for renting. 11% of house had organized for this type of private renting. Also 23% social renting and a least amout of social housing system like 6% was there.
In 2007, 70% house owners lived in UK which was the ultimate percentage also. On the other hand social renting and social housing decreased into 17% and 2% respectively. In contrast, the percentage of people who living in private houses did not change between 16 years.
