The pie chart provides information on the percentage of students enrolled in several courses offered by an adult education centre in 1985 and this year.
By looking at the chart, it can bee seen that significant changes took place over time with regards to both the title and number of courses and the enrollment percentage in each course.
For one thing, the music appreciaition course and the local history, each with an enrollment percentage of 8% and 15% respectively, were removed from the centre’s general syllabus this year. A new course on IT was introduced instead, accounting for 27% of the total enrollment.
Additionally, this year popularity of the modern languages course decreased by 7% percent, going from 24% enrollment to 17%. While the students’ interest in the fitness and dance course remained unchanged, art and cookery courses experienced a slight variation in enrollment, with art decreasing from 17% 9n 1985 to 15% of enrollment this year, and cookery increasing from 14% in 1985 to 19% of enrollment this year.
