The pie charts illustrate the percentage of adults in the university taking different courses that were offered in 1985 and this year.
Overall, modern language has been the main choice of most of the students in 1985, followed by fitness and dance. While nowadays, IT has become the main choice of most of the students, followed by fitness and dance.
This year we witness the emergence of a new sector, such as IT, with a significant percentage of students taking it. It has taken up 27 percent of the whole chart this year. In 1985, such a course did not even exist because the majority of students took mostly modern languages, which now have decreased by 7 percent because of the emergence of the IT sector. The course in fitness and dance has indeed not changed at all since it still takes up 22 percent of each chart, while the cookery course has decreased by 5 percent and art by only 2 percent. Local history fully vanished this year, as well as music appreciation.
