The most striking feature is that people started to dedicate more time to work rather than going out with friends and family, which also affected the sleeping schedule. The percentage of time spent on work and sleeping made up aproximately a third parts in 1958. The fraction of working time increased to 42% in 2008, however, a time dedicated to sleeping fell considerably to a quarter. The percentage of time dedicated to hanging out with friends decreased significantly from 19% to a tiny fraction of 6%. In contrast, both, the fraction of time spent on other interests and traveling for work rose from 6% and 2%,respectively, to 8% in 2008. In addition, the percentage of time dedicated to relaxing at home comprised of 8% in 1958 increased by 5% in 2008.
To sum up, traveling for work became more popular in 2008 as well as relaxing at home.
